Referee Upgrade Classes

Area 12D in Phoenix AZ will be hosting Referee Upgrade Classes.

If you want to take your skills to the next level, this is your opportunity.

These courses will help you become a better referee by providing the following :
1)      A better understanding of Offside, why soccer has it, and tips on making the call.
2)      How to recognize fouls and misconduct behavior, including how best to show red and yellow cards (Most  referees do it wrong).
3)      Tips on how best to handle spectators and coaches, and
4)      Understanding where the best position to be during play, plus many more.

The prerequisites are that you are a Regional Referee and are at least 14 years old for the Intermediate course. For the Advanced course, you must have prior certification as an Intermediate Referee and be 16 years old.

To register for either of these courses, go to www.eayso.org and under the My eAYSO tab, select Course Sign Up and enter the roster number.
